at: info@jewelspresentations.com.
1. Registration and payment
To register for our services, you must complete the registration process as provided from time to time. You will make your offer by
completing registration, and JPL reserve the right to accept or decline the application for registration to a training course or
coaching. All of our quotations are in New Zealand Dollars. We can provide quotations in other currencies if necessary.
Booking will be confirmed only when payment has been received by Jewels Presentations Limited ("JPL"). Upon receiving your payment,
we will send you an invoice. Please keep a note of your booking details for your own records. Please see our
registration process for more details: Register.
2. Cancellation of Events
JPL reserves the right to cancel an event (including speaking engagements, coaching, in-house and open training). If we need to
cancel an event, we will give you as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to engage an alternative facilitator. If it is
not possible for us to find a suitable alternative facilitator, we will liaise with you as soon as we can to set up another date with
the original facilitator. We do not pay compensation for consequential loss as a direct or indirect result of the course being cancelled.
If we have cancelled an event and have not engaged an alternative facilitator, we will return any payments in full received in advance
to you, and this will be the maximum limit of our liability to you. We will not refund any other costs you may incur as a result of
this cancellation.
3. Delegates' Cancellation
Upon your confirmed registration, we will not refund for a no-show at any of our events or services. If you can not attend an open
course, you may substitute a delegate to attend for no extra cost. If you have registered for in-house training, we may change the
date to suit you, provided that we receive a full refund for travel expenses that have been booked in advance. Please contact us if
you need to postpone any event or service.
4. Limitation of Liability
JPL accepts no responsibility for accident, injury or loss suffered whilst attending one of our events nor any loss incurred whilst
using material or information gained at one of our events. Delegates are responsible for taking care of their own property. We may
request you to perform simple exercises, games and activities on your course and request that you should use your own common-sense
about stopping if you are suffering any discomfort. Please tell us in advance if you are unable to participate. We will take every
reasonable precaution during the course but your health remains your own responsibility.
5. Copyright
The copyright of all our material during the training rests with the JPL and cannot be photocopied or distributed. JPL training may
not be recorded in any format without the express written permission of JPL prior to the event.
6. Variation to Terms
JPL reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time and the current version will be that published on our Site.
7. Acceptance of Terms
Through registering for a course or event, customers are deemed to have accepted the Standard Terms and Conditions for all services
and also the additional terms and conditions that apply to Open Courses and that apply to In-house training.
1. Fee for Open Courses
The Jewels Presentations Limited ("JPL") open course fee covers as a minimum: tuition, course notes or hand outs, lunches and daytime
refreshments for the duration of the course. Please let us know if you have particular requirements. We can, for example, provide for
special diets.
2. Number of Delegates
We set a maximum number of delegates for open courses depending on the venue size and the practical exercises involved.
3. Variation of Arrangements
JPL reserves the right to vary arrangements for its courses, such as venue and trainer, and in such cases will make all reasonable
efforts to inform delegates in advance.
4. Delegate Substitution
Any registered delegate who cannot attend a course may be replaced by a substitute delegate at any time before the course.
Please contact us in advance and give full details of the substitute who will attend in their place.
1. In-house Training Fee
For in-house training, we may not require you to make full payment in advance, but require you to pay a deposit; your deposit will
confirm your registration. Our in-house training charges covers facilitation and tuition, and any hand outs and materials for each
delegate. Please contact us for a quotation because our charges vary due to factors including the size of the group and the location.
We may charge you more if you send additional delegates than allowed for in the quotation.
2. Travel and Subsistence Costs
Travel and subsistence costs for the facilitator conducting the in-house training shall be recharged at cost unless otherwise agreed
in writing. If our facilitator travels to a location for more than one customer, we may apportion the costs of travel between the
customers. Additional rechargeable costs include the facilitator's travel (including all transport costs to and from home base transport
facilities), accommodation, equipment hire (if needed) and subsistence expenses. We normally re-bill the facilitator's expenses at
cost after the event. Upon your request, we can alternatively provide a fixed-rate expenses quote by negotiation.
3. In-house Training Equipment
Customers are responsible for (but not limited to) the provision of a suitably equipped training room, delegates' and facilitators'
refreshments (if deemed necessary by customer) and equipment. We may be able to provide equipment suitable for the delivery of
in-house training for a negotiable additional fee. To keep your costs at a minimum we may alter our training and exercises to suit
the equipment you can provide without any additional cost to you. Equipment may include a white board, flipchart, laptop, a projector
suitable for connecting to a laptop computer, and a screen to project onto and student workspace. If workstations are required, there
should be one per delegate, with all necessary software installed and configured.
4. Number of Delegates
The maximum number of delegates may only be exceeded with prior permission from JPL. We reserve the right to increase the cost quoted
if additional places are required. We set a maximum number of delegates according to the room size and the practical exercises
involved.
